Alex Turner and Miles Kane reunited for the second album under the name The Last Shadow Puppets‘Everything You’ve Come to Expect’ is out today through Domino Records and follows first album released in 2008.

The album starts with ‘Aviation‘, ‘Dracula Teeth’ and ‘Miracle Aligner’. The Puppets make us remember why the fans patiently waited 8 years for a new album, a solid start. Aviation features Miles Kane doing the main vocals work, while the other two tracks are Alex Turner’s job.

In the middle of the record first single ‘Bad Habits’, ‘Sweet Dreams, TN’ (dedicated to Alex Turner’s girlfriend Taylor Bagley) and ‘Used to Be My Girl’ bring some craziness and psychedelia, in the case of the last song mentioned.

‘The Dream Synopsis’ closes this new album. A strong ballad sang and wrote by the Arctic Monkeys’ frontman whom even quoted ‘Miles Kane’ in the lyrics.

In a recent interviews The Last Shadow Puppets said that this project could be a trilogy. We only need to wait for the third album, possibily in less than 8 years with Arctic Monkeys’ permission.
